Regularities of Municipal Economic Subsystem Components and Structure in Cuba's Local Development Management

Abstract

This research characterizes  a number of elements determining the processes of local development management in Cuban municipalities with particular emphasis on premises and regularities  of those processes  integrating  the municipal  economic subsystem.  To this end, the municipal system components interacting, intervening, and influencing economic results and local development were studied. A systemic approach was applied to assess the complexity  of the components  and structure interaction.  The theoretic al treatment   put   into   effect   to  understand   the   economic   subsystem   of   municipal management  helps  to  strengthen  mechanisms  and  tools  for  a  better  performance regarding local development.
