We must gain a knowledge of these technologies, and then develop and apply this knowledge [...]. Since the middle eighties, a number of specialists from different nations have arrived in Cuba to teach and train our professors and entrepreneurs on management technologies, and also to interchange opinions and ideas on this field. In 1988, the first two Study centers were created for this purpose in two Cuban universities. Years later they were established in other universities. In that way, management technology knowledge spread among executives and professionals from different enterprises and territories. In 1992, the first course to earn a Master’s degree on management, a “tropical version” of the Master’s degree on Business Administration from English speaking countries, started in Cuba based in our reality. State administration organs created Centers for Management Training, in which executives from their subsidiaries are introduced into management technologies by a teaching staff from these organs or from universities.
