Agrotourism product Finca La Prometida, an opportunity for local development for the municipality of Bolivia

Objective: Conceptualize Finca La Prometida as an agrotourism product and its impact on the local development of the avileño territory.
Methods and techniques: Theoretical and empirical methods were used, highlighting documentary bibliography, interviews, surveys and scientific observation; that made it possible to detect the potential and tourism vocation of the study area, in correspondence with the characteristics of agrotourism as a tourism modality to be implemented in the territory to promote local development.
Main results: The elements that favor or limit the management of Cuban rural areas for tourism purposes were analyzed, and agrotourism was valued as a reference for local development, based on the analysis of the Bolivia municipality, belonging to the province of Ciego de Avila.
Conclusions: The territory has attractions and tourist values that are not used due to the transformation of its socioeconomic dynamics. In addition, the design of the La Prometida farm was presented as an agrotourism product, based on the demands of local development in the cuban context
