About economies of scale. Size and location of industrial investments

Abstract

The outstanding relationship among investment costs, operation costs, and transportation costs concerning capital goods and products, and industrial investment extent and location is discussed taking into account the well-known scale-economy concept. A number of fundamental calculus expressions to evaluate such investment variants are presented.
