Postgraduate Courses to Foster and Enhance Managing Decision Making Competence in Company Executives

Abstract

Postgraduate professionalization of company executives was assessed, particularly in the area of decision making competence. The novelty of this research lies in the establishment of a system of relationships evidenced through interaction: professionalization, qualification and transformation, which constitute the dynamics for the postgraduate strategy design to professionalize company executives. The strategy presented helps leaders face the challenges settled by entrepreneurship development, and strengthen their leadership. The scientific and methodological value of the proposal was corroborated with the method of expert criteria. Its implementation was also assessed at the High Entrepreneurial Management, School of Graduates, APEC University, Dominican Republic.
