Abstract

A potential approach of local development reveals the existence of resources capable of  enhancing  a  specific  area  development.  However,  the  mere  existence  of  these resources does not determine their feasibility. The current study is aimed at evaluating resources feasibility level to strategically position them. Hence a strategical assessment of  local  development  potential  was  perfor med  as  it  guarantees  a  higher  objectivity regarding  strategic  planification  and  local  strategies  design.  A  tool  divided  into  two stages  was  created:  the  first  stage  determines  resources  feasibility  level  while  the second one shows how to strategically position them.
