Abstract

A diagnostic methodology for regular detection of food and nutritional safety was  designed  to  tackle  the  particularities  of  the  municipality  of  Sandino, province of Pinar del Río, Cuba. Theoretical and empirical methods were used, along  with  the  SWOT  matrix.  The  results  of  the  study  focused  on  issues affecting the components of food and nutritional safety in the territory.
