Training towards the improvement in competitiveness is one of the most important enterprise strategies in regards to human resources development; for this reason, the present research deals with the complex task of evaluating training impact on Cuban enterprises. The theoretical introduction to this topic, though limited in its extent, constitutes a useful approach for further development and validation of measurement scales which will allow key variables evaluation and sound statistical results achievement, both providing the scientific precision needed in measuring training impact on enterprises not only in Cuba but elsewhere. Training-instruction patterns from Kirkpatrick, Wade, Phillips, and the holistic one summarize the most detailed attempts towards a methodology systematization that makes training impact evaluation of enterprises easier. The practical application of the suggested pattern components is the continuation of this research. To this end, statistical analysis including multivariant analytical techniques and structural equation systems which provide a theoretical and practical foundation to this relevant topic will be carried out.
