Abstract

A methodology to design university management indicators is presented. The Delphi method and the statistical-mathematical method were applied among others. Evaluating university institutions processes and contributing to their self-evaluation within the Mexican education context were the motivating needs of this paper. Methodological steps were established to locate an indicators system for management evaluation with a process approach favoring efficiency and efficacy in university intitutions. In addition, a possible implementation of this system in different contexts was considered.
