Program to strengthen the innovation capacity of the center for the exploitation, manufacture and recovery of equipment and parts (CEEFREP)

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to show the basics and main contents of a program of actions to strengthen the capacity of innovation at the Center of Study for Exploitation, Production and Recovery of Parts and Equipment (CEEFREP), at the University of Camaguey “Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz”. The program was developed taking into consideration the shortcomings reflected by a diagnosis; observation and interviews were the methods used, with a structural and systemic focus, by which the status of the processes of the Center for the full implementation of its mission was characterized.

The review and update of key aspects from the point of view of the overall functioning of an organization of its kind was included. As for innovation, policies and strategic objectives, specific proposals are provided, and the basis for forming a strategy of innovation activity.

The program was validated in a scientific session of the Centre and analysis and opinion of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Electromechanics. It is an important tool for better planning, implementation and control of the processes of I + D + i of CEEFREP.
