Abstract

Instruction and training in administration-management were evaluated, and actions were recommended to fill the breach in the municipality of Contramaestre, province of Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. Surveys and interviews were made to detect flaws during instruction and training of cadres and their reserves in the local institutions of the municipality, with an impact on management, including the absence of contextualized local issues in postgraduate training. The proposal rested on local instruction and training through curricular contextualization, and good use of the human capital potential in the municipality. The application of results favored upper training and instruction to local cadres in administration and management.
