Strategy Management Construct and Dimensions. Abilities Needed for an Effi cient Performance

Abstract

Strategy management as well as the main defi nitions of the concept of strategy
and the models mostly used for strategy management since their implementation
are discussed. Construct, its dimensions, and abilities needed by strategists for an
effi cient performance in each dimension are specifi ed. Although strategy management
has been widely applied all over the world for almost sixty years, its extended
theoretical foundations are scattered. Besides, different trends and approaches are
also abundant, but the essence of strategy management still remains unexplicitly
addressed. These facts enhanced our motivation in writing the present paper.
