Abstract

This research paper was carried out at the Empresa Agropecuaria y Forestal which belongs to the Ministry of Agriculture (MINAG). This enterprise is located in Segundo Frente, Santiago de Cuba province. Its main objective is to enhance the planning process of the entity by means of the economic-mathematic modelation of Lineal Programming. The use of the Informatics System “LINDOW” contributes to increase the production levels in the entity on which this research is aimed at though a better distribution of the available lands. All this represents a meaningful contribution to the planning process.The employment of the economic-mathematic modelation in the system mentioned above allows the acquisition of advanced solution, throughout the data processing means and introduction of the fundamental parameters. In comparison to the plans of the enterprise, higher levels of production in the models planned are appreciated. Taking into account the distribution which the model contributes, a 508.91 t production is achieved. This points to an increase in relation to the entity plan of 17,8 %.
