The prospective strategic approach according to the development of the municipality of Nuevitas towards 2030

Abstract

Objective: expose the process to design future scenarios that constitute challenges for the Nuevitas municipality towards the year 2030, incorporating strategic prospective planning.

Methods and techniques: dialectical materialist, work with the sources, to take into account the conceptions of the topic being addressed.

Main results: the territorial prospective model and its scientific methods were used to design future scenarios of municipal development through collective reflection.

Conclusions: the work constitutes a contribution to the strategic prospective planning for the development of the Nuevitas municipality towards the year 2030. The application of the strategic prospective and its Micmac and Smic-Prob-Expert methods, allowed to carry out a comprehensive analysis of the variables that affect directly and indirectly in the problem under study, as well as deciding the key variables, and defining the possible future scenarios that the actors must challenge, scientifically based.
