Abstract

The introduction and consolidation of administrative competences in the organizational management of Cuban companies is necessary for improving their performance. After identifying the directives competences in companies of the Holguin province, Cuba, the conclusion is that they are implemented partially, but do not reach the expected results and  impacts.  So,  the  objective  of  this  research  is  to  develop  a  procedure  for competences management to contribute to a higher performance of executives and improve the results of the companies of the territory, which have accomplished a solid improvement in the state sector. Different theoretical and empirical methods for researching were applied, among them: experts’ criteria, group dynamics, documental analysis and inquiry. The result obtained was  a  procedure for the management  of administrative competences in those companies in the Cuban context. A proposal that combines current scientific approaches and regulations of the country -not covered by the studied procedures in reference to administrative competences- is also presented.
