Abstract

Objective: To propose a methodological procedure for the development management of interorganizational hygienic-sanitary quality assurance networks in agri-food chains that strengthen the productive articulation of the integral food safety assurance system.
Methods and techniques: Bibliographic review for the establishment of theoretical relationships between the conceptual categories that make up the study, and for
the contrast whit related procedures.
Main results: The feasibility of managing the development of interorganizational hygienic-sanitary quality assurance networks was theoretically demonstrated to improve the productive articulation of
the integral food safety assurance system and an innovative procedure was designed, capable of responding to the methodological deficiencies detected.
Conclusions: The designed procedure provides the
necessary elements so that the governance entities of
the agri-food chains can manage both the formation and
the effective functioning of this type of interorganizational hygienic-sanitary quality assurance networks, which favors their development and with it, the improvement of the productive articulation in the system.
