Abstract

The way to produce knowledge management in organizational process management in the province of Camaguey is characterized. The methods used were analysissynthesis, induction-deduction, document review, surveys and interviews to groups of executives. Some parcial scientific relevant results were achieved: 1) A series of epistemological fundaments from a dialectic-materialistic perspective was determined; 2) A different explanation of structure and function of knowledge management process from other authors, that defines knowledge management, production and reproduction as sub-processes. Additionally, it determines  the nonlinear and recursive way in which its activities are related; 3) The empirical data about Camagueyan organizations´ executives in the study showed that knowledge management in process management is poorly thought and lacks strategy.
