Environmental economic assessment of natural resources greatly contributes to economic decision-making process associated with their management improvement. Regarding wildlife reserves, a multicriteria pattern to economically assess environmental goods and services has proved to be a useful tool in articulating a variety of natural, economic, and social components, and thus, conflicting objectives can be balanced by discarding decisions oriented toward an only one goal. The challenge of integrating and interrelating environmental components to social and economic actions for the benefit of environment protection, conservation, and rational use motivated this study. Its aim was integrating the economic assessment of environmental goods and services from wildlife reserves as a contribution to the decision-making process.
