Bank Funding Management for the Production of Export Items in Cuba
Keywords:
production linkage, value chain, export, bank funding managementAbstract
Aim: To design a procedure for managing bank funds that promote production linkage in the value chain to stimulate Cuban exports.
Methods and techniques: Direct observation, expert opinion, and group workshops.
Main results: A change of paradigm was performed in terms of bank funding management based on a new approach that will lead to the creation of greater business capacities through the association with the economic system, the reinforcement of the already-existing capacities and the production linkages, and the contribution to decisionmaking. The analysis ensures that every link of the chain has its own dynamics and contributes to the end product.
Conclusions: Today’s bank funding management is not integrative or directed to production linkage that promotes exports in Cuba, the main ground for this research study.
