Internal Control and Standard Regulations

Abstract

Mexican enterprises are affected by severe deficiencies in their internal control due to the lack of standards for the design and implementation of internal control systems based on new international approaches. The analytical-synthetical method was applied to evaluate current trends on internal control and its regulation, and, hence, define and summarize essential issues to be discussed. The logical-deductive method supported the fundamental statements in building up scientific methodological proposals for standard regulations.
