The blended of raw petroleum is an operation that can be optimized and it is based on a great quantity of knowledge and experience. The properties of raw good they are provided by the refinery models that define the good employment of the torrent units for several types of raw.
The planning of these operations consists on obtaining a mixture of two or component with different properties to a specification required as they are octane, flow, level of sulfur etc., besides keeping in mind the existent capacities and the demand conditions. This is considered a very important point inside this type of industries, since their profitability depends on finding the good mixture, under conditions of variability of the prices in the final products.
For such a reason the general objective of the present investigation is to determine the good variant of blended for a refinery of petroleum that achieves the maximum of utilities, by means of the Parametric Lineal Programming.
The proposal takes like base the refinery PCK of Oder, Federal Republic of Germany whose preliminary results, present advantages in the utilities of until 4%, in comparison with the use of the current method.
