Procedure for the commercialization of scientific results in a higher education science entity

Abstract

Objective: Design a procedure that strengthens the commercialization process of science results for a Science,
Technology and Innovation Entity, attached to the Ministry of Higher Education.
Methods and techniques: A systematic bibliographic review was used, complemented by documentary analysis; The official
documentation of the Medical Biophysics entity was taken into account for this purpose. The user method and the group
satisfaction index allowed us to validate the applicability of the proposal.
Main results: A procedure for the commercialization of the results of science and innovation was designed. It is made up of four phases that are deployed in four stages and interact systematically, allowing their operability and potential application in specific situations related to the negotiation of products and services derived from science.
Conclusions: The proposal is coherent with what is established in the government management system oriented towards science and innovation in Cuba, since it enhances the social and economic impact that the development of science should have in its relationship with the different actors that coexist in the country today.
