Abstract

 

Objective: To propose an instrument for the evaluation of organizational flexibility adapted to the characteristics of the Cuban
entrepreneurial system.
Methods and techniques: Historical-logical method that allowed knowing the evolution and development of the conceptualization of organizational flexibility within the entrepreneurial context. The statistical-mathematical method, that of analysis and synthesis of the bibliographical and documentary compilation and inductive-deductive for the determination of the evaluation indicators and their adaptation.
In addition, techniques such as descriptive studies and structured questionnaires were used.
Main results: It is possible to define an instrument, evaluated by experts, contextualized to Cuban reality and legality for measuring the level of organizational flexibility of a company based on dimensions and indicators; which allows us to identify which factors of organizational flexibility must be changed or reinforced to improve organizational performance in general.
Conclusions: The proposed variables allow evaluating organizational flexibility based on the adaptation and contextualization of
international experiences to the characteristics of the Cuban business
system.
