An experience of the university company link from the University of Camagüey

Objective: To present the experiences of the Architecture degree (University of Camagüey) in university-business relations based on the insertion of students into the workplace (pre-professional internships), characterized by an interactive dynamic between students, teachers and companies.
Methods and techniques: Analysis, synthesis and documentary analysis of bibliographic sources on the topic were
used, with emphasis on the university training process focused on problem solving. The unstructured observation method was used in field work required to obtain information about the performance of students in the workplace during the internship period, and interviews with company managers and tutors to
obtain information on aspects related to the insertion of students in labor entities, and in the methodological proposal structured in three phases for the development of the activities.
Main results: The training of Architecture students is consolidated from pre-professional work practice, encouraging
the active participation of students in the search for solutions to territorial problems.
Conclusions: The university-business relationship contributes to the dynamics of interaction between professionals in the
business sector and the subjects of the educational teaching process, which favors the training of the architect.
